HEART GUARD PROJECT
Heart Guard is my personal project focused on creating a simple, affordable heart-monitoring device for people with limited access to healthcare. Using optical sensors, it tracks the user’s heartbeat and sends alerts when readings move outside a safe range — helping people stay aware and safe without complicated technology.

I began this project because I believe technology should make life safer, not more complicated - especially for those who need it most. The first prototype was built through the Heart Guard Exhibition, a student-led fundraiser where 30 of us turned ideas and empathy into action.
In September 2024, I brought the device to Ninh Binh, where our team offered free health check-ups for elderly patients at the local Social Protection Center. Seeing the smiles of seniors as we measured their heartbeats reminded me that innovation only matters when it touches real lives.

Heart Guard Product
Heart Guard is both my personal project and my first product - a smart yet simple heart-monitoring device designed to make health care more accessible.
Built with compact optical sensors, it continuously tracks the user’s heartbeat and sends alerts when readings fall outside a safe range. Unlike complex medical tools, Heart Guard is made to be intuitive, affordable, and easy for anyone to use, especially those with limited access to healthcare.
